To set temporal compression (the effect of frame differencing):

This is an advanced feature. If you don’t set temporal compression, the Quality slider controls it for you.

1. Choose Compression Settings from 
    the Settings menu.

2. Select the Key Frame option.

3. Hold down the Command key and
    drag the Temporal slider to the 
    setting you want.
